In October, 2008, Mr. Weinman was a keynote presenter at the Asia CIO Summit in Beijing, a gathering of almost 200 attendees held at the Oriental Bay Hotel.
He spoke at the Guide Share Europe Management Summit in Belgium, at the Hilton Brussels: "The Future of Information and Communications Technology -- Opportunities and Challenges with Globalization and New Enterprise Datacenter Strategies."
He was the keynote presenter, a panelist, and a moderator at the CTO's Roundtable "The Emerging Network-Centric World," held by the Confederation of Indian Industry at the Leela Kempinski in Goa.
He was a speaker and panelist at the Logistics and Supply Chain Executive Conference 2008, at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong.
Also in October, he was the keynote speaker at the Global Network Summit at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel in Tokyo.
In September, he was a panelist on a cloud computing panel moderated by William Fellows, Principal Analyst, at The 451 Group's inaugural ICE Summit (Infrastructure Computing for the Enterprise) at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
Also in September, Mr. Weinman spoke at "Comunicações Unificadas" in São Paulo, Brazil, an event moderated by actor/director and blogger Marcelo Tas, with keynote speaker journalist/economist Joelmir Beting
In June, 2008, Mr. Weinman participated on a panel at Giga Omni Media's Structure 08: Put Cloud Computing To Work. The agenda included keynotes from Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon, Greg Papadopolous, CTO of Sun Microsystems, and James Crowe, CEO of Level 3 Communications, as well as presentations and panels from a host of other industry luminaries. The panel, Working the Clouds: NextGen Infrastructure for New Entrepreneurs was moderated by cloud computing analyst and commentator Alistair Croll of Bitcurrent. The event was sold out, with a mix of enterprises, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, bloggers, and print journalists packing the UCSF auditorium.
The star and MC was technology journalist, Business 2.0 Senior Writer, and über-blogger Om Malik. The event coincided with the two year anniversary of Giga Omni Media.
Also in June, he presented "Architecture 3.0: What Goes Where and Why" at Cisco Live! in Orlando.
Also in June, he presented at an invitation-only customer event as part of the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix.
As always, the star attraction was Nico Rosberg, of the AT&T Williams Formula 1 race team.
In May, 2008, he participated on the panel "The Exaflood: Managing the Coming Digital Deluge," moderated by Bret Swanson at the 12th Annual Telecosm Conference, hosted by Steve Forbes and George Gilder at The Sagamore in Lake George, NY.

In April, 2008, he delivered the opening keynote to about 550 attendees at the MetaSwitch Forum V, at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans.
He was also on a State of the Industry panel moderated by Gary Kim, Editor-in-Chief of IP Business and ChannelVision. Also on the panel were Dave Axam of BT and Joe McGarvey, Senior Analyst at Current Analysis.
The star attraction at the event was Archie Manning, former New Orleans Saints quarterback and father of NFL quarterbacks Eli and Peyton Manning.
In March, 2008, he presented to an audience of about 1200 people at the 33rd annual El Simposium Internacional de Sistemas Computacionales y Tecnologias de la Informacion (SISCTI 33), i.e., the International Symposium of Computing Systems and Information Technologies, in Monterrey, Mexico, at "Tech," the Technology Institute of Monterrey.
In January, 2008, he presented to an audience of about 400 from across Asia / Pacific including India, Japan, and Australia, at the Crowne Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Also in January, to about 400 attendees from Europe, Scandinavia, and the Middle East, in Berlin, at the Berlin Hilton.
